Ingredients: Pepper, Oregano, Basil, Thyme, Parsley, Celery, Cayenne Pepper, Onion, Salt
This Venison Slow Cooker Blend is a winner with it's deep warm flavour. Juniper berries added to your recipe really enhance the flavour. It can be used with any meat of your choice, particularly nice with pork and many customers use it with goat.
Venison Casserole: Slow Cooked
1kg diced Venison, 35g Venison Blend, 1/2 cup Flour, 8 Tbsp Olive Oil, 8 Juniper Berries, 4 Medium 1/4 cut Potatoes, 4 Carrots thick sliced or any other Vegetables, 1 Cup Water
Mix Flour with Venison Blend, coat the Venison. Heat Oil in a pan and brown off the Venison. Put into a slow cooker. Add the Potatoes, Carrots, Onion and Water. Stir, cook on low for 4 hours or until tender. Serve with creamy mashed Potatoes, Kumara and Garlic.
