Say goodbye to fast foods and experience Kiwi Spices Southern Fried Chicken - you will be pleased you did! The below recipe is the best however it is pretty dam good just by mixing a little of flour with the Spice Blend and coating the Chicken and whacking in the Air Fryer!
Southern Fried Chicken
1.5kg Chicken Pieces, 600ml Milk, 1 cup plain Flour, 3 Tbsp Southern Fried Chicken Blend, Vegetable Oil to shallow fry, 1 egg (beaten)
Cover Chicken with Milk and leave to stand overnight. Mix Flour and Spice Blend. Remove the Chicken from the Milk and drain. Dip the Chicken into the beaten Egg then roll in seasoned Flour. Allow to stand for 15 minutes. Heat Oil in large frypan. Place the Chicken skin side down and cook for 10 minutes before turning over then cook for a further 10 minutes or until thoroughly cooked. Drain on paper towels
