Originally from Egypt, Dukkah is a food consisting of a mixture of nuts and spices. It is typically used as a dip with bread or fresh vegetables, and eaten as an Hors d’œuvre. It can also be used as a side dish to the main course of a meal.

Other suggestions for Dukkah:

• Dip pieces of crusty bread in a good quality Olive Oil then in the Dukkah
• Great for coating Fish, Chicken, Seafood, Lamb and Tofu
• Smear soft Cheese with Olive Oil then Dukkah
• Sprinkle on Salads, Poached Eggs, Roasted Potatoes
• Use as a garnish for Soups
• Add to Stuffing mix
• Use as a plate garnish
